Is North Carolina the best state in the US?

NC has mountains, beaches, a booming economy, relatively low cost of living, lots of Mayberrys, lots of places with plentiful cultcha, etc. It's easily the best state in the South.

I'm in Asheville right now, and this is the gayest city I've been to in terms of Covid so I'm going to go with no.

It's a great state. I enjoy their style of BBQ too although I like others as well.
Had a chance to move to Raleigh about 15 years ago and my wife shut it down because she was knocked up.

My dad says Bozeman is full of hipsters and Californians now. His place is 25 miles or so out of town though.
I haven't been to anything other than Billings in the past 20 years.

I lived there for 8 years after Katrina. Loved it at first, but I could see that with the influx of Northerners arriving there by the boatload, it was gonna turn into another Florida or Texas. Sad, but these northern people ruin everything with their politics and snobbery regarding “The Locals”. It should turn into a democratic state by 2024.

NC has a fair share of flaws but it definitely has a lot going for it.
Mountains, beaches, a big city, several good medium sized cities, beautiful countryside, southern culture, booming economy, good geographic location, schools, etc.
Just gotta get Roy Cooper out of there.
