I'm asian and from the south, I don't find it offensive at all. I think it is a good piece of history to remember, after all they were the losers in the conflict, so they can't hurt me.

If people like it? Go for it. I know Korean rappers who had sported it because it was cool looking. YEs they got ratio for that.

The confederate flag at this point represents the South. No it does not offend me.

Nah

It helps me identify losers and those who hold losers in high regard.

The Confederate flag that you see today is not the same as the battle flag that was used by the Confederate army. The Confederate battle flag was square, not the elongated flag you see today.

I have no issue with the flag. It's a shame that it has become a symbol of hate.

Back in the days of the Civil War, people were more loyal to their home states and not the US.

My sister is a member of the Daughters of the Confederacy. I guess that makes me a non-paying member.

Our great great great? grandfather was a Confederate POW. He was imprisoned somewhere up north.

Sister does genealogy. Found out the POW wife was from Cuero, TX which is between Houston and Victoria, TX. Wonder where and how they met.

History is fascinating. Too bad it is only written by the side that wins.

There's always 2 sides to every story.

No, it’s a piece of cloth that I have no attachment to. It also helps point out the losers who I don’t want to associate with.

I can't say I am offended by it partly because I am not sure what the universal meaning of offended is today.

One thing I will say is the Venn diagram of those that display the Confederate flag (most commonly the rectangular version) and people who are well educated, intelligent, and successful is nearly two separate circles.

Personally, it does not offend me. I do have appreciation and empathy for those that are offended by it, and I think those that do fly it are pretty ignorant.

Not at all, I have one up in my garage. Personal choice is a beautiful thing, I don’t get offended is someone flys a pride flag or have a Biden sign. Life is too short to be a puss.

Not really. Freedom of speech and liberty is a great thing. I generally have a low opinion of those that choose to parade it around though
