With Brennan Being out this will be a tough game and to the end my prediction is we see improvemnt(Some Not all) on defense and the ground game with a

35-31 win for lsu

If we run the same offense and let the freshman QB's play then 34-27 LSU.

If we go vanilla and try to hide the QB's then 27-17 USCe.

I feel like many of the predictions so far assume that lsu has made some massive improvement on defense since mizzou. there is no evidence of that. Not to mention starting a true freshman QB in an offense that requires good passing? yikes

What have we seen in the 3 games this year that would lead us to believe anything will change?

Slow boring run game and cant stop usce.

Hard to see a path to victory, honestly. Our defensive problems are systemic and we are starting a true freshman QB with basically zero run game to take pressure off of him.

I think if we can hold South Carolina to 17 points or less, we win. Even with a Freshman QB, I think we score at least 24 points.

I'm very close to you, OP. I got 31-24 Cocks

Think the defense actually looks improved, but just still isn't quite where we would like it to be. I think Johnson will play well given the circumstances, but won't quite be enough to win. All that being said, we're way more talented and should win by at least 2 TDs even without Brennan, so I wouldn't at all be shocked if we start to actually play how we should be playing.
