NOLA, if my memory serves me correct, in 06 LSU went to the Sugar Bowl (a BCS bowl) and beat Notre Dame. Do you think the Sugar Bowl would select an at-large #4 SEC team? If Arky was SEC #2 don't you think they would have went to the Sugar?

Biggest FAIL perhaps of all time for a tiger fan. (ok maybe not biggest ever, but I hope you were'nt serious about your comment.)

Jeez louise, if you no anything about the Sugar Bowl and the SEC, then you know the SECCG loser never goes to the Sugar Bowl.

no, you really don't want to meet up with da Bulldogs in January! Not a skull dragging by three SEC teams three years in a row!

Sure but what kind of weaponry do they bring? You know perfectly well that there is only one other team in your conference that ever hauls in as much football talent.

The whole SEC vs. OSU thing is so :beatdeadhorse:

Don't get me wrong, I love it. As far as I'm concerned, if it's outside of the SEC it doesn't exist. But OSU is going to beat an SEC school some day, or win another NC, and we'll hear it all run into the ground. Except it'll be the other way around talking about OSU finally getting over the hump. That will suck.

In the past, the TV exposure and the national recognition of the Michigans, Ohio States and Notre Dames of the world allowed them to recruit talent out of the South to supplement the talent pool from the kids in the Midwest. Now, those kids in the South can get the same level of exposure and play for championships without having to leave the SEC.

Well stated. Now, for some facts...

Carlos Hyde Naples (FL) Naples

Michael Brewster Orlando (FL) Edgewater

Travis Howard Miami (FL) Dr. Krop

Etienne Sabino Miami (FL) Dr. Krop

Duron Carter Fort Lauderdale (FL) St. Thomas Aquinas

Is that South enough for you SEC?

After two years in a row your still not convinced?

It's just a different style and brand of football down here, face it! You don't have the speed. Look at how fast our d line was on your QB. How about your receivers, we had them covered with single coverage! Nobody else that you play on your schedule can do that!

I hope we play the SEC in a bowl game this year...if we can't beat them with this team we probably never will.

All I know is that the Buckeyes' season will be over on September 6th after the Ohio University Bobcats take em behind the woodshed.

Bobcat Nation will not be denied!

Why is that so funny? It isn't like the Big X is that weak of a conference. It isn't the SEC but not many other conferences out there are any better.

And how is that crying in the first place?

You are joking, right?????

It's tough going through the Big Ten. It's brutal. Teams come at you each and every week and they're always tough, hard-nosed football games. It's a very, very tough thing to do."

He is right. Think about it... you got quality teams like NW who stayed within 17 of New Hampshire a few years back.

Minny who held North Dakota state to a measly 394 yards rushing in their loss to them.

Indiana who shut down Ok St by only allowing 49.

Purdue who kept C Michigan to 48 points on a neutral field.

Iowa who battled Iowa St to the bitter end, barely losing.

When half of your conference is this quality, how can you not conclude week on week it is just top notch.

A) Lose

B) Polluted two national championship games in a row because you have the benefit of playing in a weak arse conference that has managed a winning bowl season once this decade.

Any other questions?
