Before the Cavaliers won the NBA title in 2016, the city of Cleveland owned the longest streak of no titles in each of the "Big 3" sports.

Cleveland Browns - 56 year drought, 0 Super Bowls..0 Super Bowl Appearances
Cleveland Indians - 72 year title drought, longest active streak in MLB
Cleveland Cavaliers - Since 2010, the 6 seasons without LeBron, the Cavs are horrendous going...(135-324), including two 19 win seasons the last two years.

Just so we are clear....being a Browns fan alone should win this discussion. Since returning in 1999:

1999 - (2-14)
2000 - (3-13)
2001 - (7-9)
2002 - (9-7)* Last playoff appearance
2003 - (5-11)
2004 - (4-12)
2005 - (6-10)
2006 - (4-12)
2007 - (10-6) Adding insult to injury, didn't make the playoffs.
2008 - (4-12)
2009 - (5-11)
2010 - (5-11)
2011 - (4-12)
2012 - (5-11)
2013 - (4-12)
2014 - (7-9)
2015 - (3-13)
2016 - (1-15)
2017 - (0-16)

2018 - (7-8-1)
2019 - (6-10)

Total - (105-238)

Those bolded years...I don't think people really truly understand, there was a time from Dec 20th, 2015 all the way to Sept 20th, 2018 during a 40 game period, the Cleveland Browns won just 1 game....1 fricking game!!

I think it would be just a little different if LeBron had stayed and the Cavs were still relevant for the city of Cleveland, but now that LeBron left, the Cavs are literally one of the worst 3 teams in the NBA....again!!!

Again, this isn't a claim i like to make, but its Cleveland.

You could say the same for Philly, but at least Boston and Philly teams have done some winning recently.

You can add Dallas-Fort Worth to the mix.

Football--The Cowboys may be one of the world's most valuable sports franchises, but we're coming up on 20 years since they've seriously competed for a Super Bowl berth.
Basketball--The Mavericks got lucky with their 2011 title since Dirk was so loyal. Mark Cuban can't get any big-name free agents to sign.
Baseball--The Rangers are the oldest professional sports team in any of the four major leagues to have never won its league title. And they've fielded a competitive team less than 20% of its seasons. If MLB ever gets serious about contracting franchises again, based on performance alone this should be up there with Seattle as a real candidate.

Yet they’ve still won 5 Super Bowls

I’m not a Mavs fan, but you don’t get ‘lucky’ by winning the NBA Finals. I can think of several franchises that would love to get lucky and win a title.

This is a absolutely horrible take

Contracting the Rangers seems reasonable to me.

I’m not a Rangers homer, but if they could have gotten one more strike in the 2011 WS, they fly a banner and this isn’t a discussion.

Without digging deep into the numbers, I would assume they were one of the more successful organizations of this past decade. 2 AL titles and a few more postseason appearances is pretty solid.

Well one thing that I don’t wanna get banned for

Another is the Irish American heritage which I am a big fan of ,
The size of the city which makes it extremely walkable
The history behind it
The food especially in Boston’s north end
The actual pride they all have in their sports teams
NYC generally does, but it’s also a lot more transplants so you’ll literally find any type of fan there, Boston is just Boston
It’s also on the water and a perfect driving distance to the Cape
I also don’t mind the weather, although I feel like winters there are getting shorter (as they are here, it’s been in the 70s all week here... this is October in the north east)
I was last there a week before Thanksgiving last year and it was in the 60s

I love Boston, and I’d live there if my firm had a desk there.
But they don’t

Or if they had put Endy Chavez in as a defensive replacement... probably.

To each their own, but I would strongly disagree with you.

Also, never heard of Eagle's Deli but adding it to my list of new places to try. The menu looks awesome.

Lol because the TED was entirely too big for a baseball team. The braves ran into some powerhouse American League squads back in the day, you have to give credit to them as well.
