Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) Tweeted:
There is a nasty rumor out there that @SenatorCollins of Maine will not be supporting our great United States Supreme Court Nominee. Well, she didn’t support Healthcare or my opening up 5000 square miles of Ocean to Maine, so why should this be any different. Not worth the work!

If she votes no, then she is guaranteed to lose her seat.

I hope Collins loses.
I’d rather battle known enemies than inside enemies.

If Collins votes against Barrett, Trump should tell Republicans in Maine to vote for a 3rd Party candidate or write someone in.

Janky, you still good on our bet? You posted once and never again. Just wanted to confirm with you.

Honestly Trump should be pressuring gop senators much more like this because they damn sure haven’t supported him

Nope nope nope. Collins is the best we can get from Maine guys. Her holding that seat could be the difference between Schumer or McConnell as the Senate majority leader in the next Congress. Everyone should hold their nose and vote for Collins.

Forcing Collins to put her nickel down. Hell, even goofy Mitt came out in support of ACB yesterday evening. Collins has no supportable basis to vote no.

If she claims to be a conservative, what could possibly be her reason for voting against ACB?

The silver bullet to lobstermen and fishermen. Those folks have strong feelings on this, as do their communities.
Don't mess with their livelihood.

Mitch has the votes. My guess is he gave Collins the go ahead to vote in whichever way is best for her reelection chances. She saved Kavanaugh. Her speech during the kavanaugh debate was a thing of beauty. She earned the right to do what she needs to do here.

ACB should get a Scalia level vote (98-0). There is literally 0 questions about her qualifications.

This may be what Trump intended.

She sucks but she got the Kava-baw nomination across the goal line. Barret should be a slam dunk but Collins must be real worried about holding on to her seat.

I think she isn't going to vote no but is going to vote present. Either way is political suicide for her.
