In all honesty, this is what I don't understand. We know he doesn't have much of an arm but he can throw the ball 40 yards downfield.
So why are we almost never throwing the ball 30+ yards downfield? We know he can do it well enough to keep a defense honest, he just doesn't do it enough.

You know it has to be there. Defenses have to be playing way up based on the first 4 games. Glad he can still get it down there.

I think he's only got 1 or 2 in him per game and they have to be very selective

Genuinely think when MT comes back it will open up the secondary bigly.
Right now, it’s Kamara with Sanders as the deep threat. Jared will run a route once a series. Having TM they can’t scheme the same way

Thomas has been out all year. Sanders is only just now getting the hang of the offense. And after that there’s really no one he has a lot of faith in to come down with those deep passes.

For one, he made that one look easy.
Also, if his arm was that bad that 2 25+ yard passes means he's done, there's no way he'd be able to throw 30-40 passes of any kind for an entire game while getting hit.
