Man, that was a pretty wild ride east of Bham down I-20. No power in my neighborhood in Lincoln. Lots of limbs and power lines on the ground.

Tenant called me about 4:30 and said there's a tree on my rental in Oxford. It doesn't sound too bad, but I really didn't want to deal with this kind of headache.

Crazy how fast this damn storm came through. I don't think I've been through a TS this strong this far north since I was a kid during Opal. Good luck to all affected by Zeta.

what I saw was when it was approaching the Selma area it was still a cat 1, so when it rolled though here - it was borderline between a Strong TS and a low end Cat 1.

I’m upset about the damage in Leeville
It’s terrible

There are some videos on FB from Grand Isle from during the storm, I haven’t seen any pics from this morning

Poles and trees snapped everywhere and laying across the highways, farms shops blown away, catfish farm feed bins toppled. This storm looks to have the most widespread major damage of any so far this year

I know Louisiana must have used up a big chunk of pole and power line inventory so far. I wonder what the capacity is regionally and nation wide.

I think the Smokey Mountains are saving Knoxville from the worst of the winds, but it's been raining here and plenty of flash flooding.

Any power loss there yet? I'm supposed to be driving to Sevierville Sunday.
