Whenever coach O’s time is up, we should never hire a guy who has never been a coordinator

I never want LSU to have a head coach again who has never been a coordinator and has to rely on great coordinators to be successful. I feel like if you don’t want to be or never been a coordinator, you shouldn’t be a head coach.

That’s just fricking stupid. We wouldn’t have had the greatest season in college football history if LSU required coordinator experience

Ehhh. He was the HC of a team that won a natty. So was Larry Coker and Gene Czezik. Remains to be seen who was really responsible.

It's early to be sure. But looking like Aranda, Brady and Burrow while O was a figurehead.

O was a coordinator though. He called his own defense at Ole Miss until his last year there.

So if he’d been an offensive coordinator. We wouldn’t have these problems?

Well to be fair the 2017 and 2018 seasons weren't exactly coaching masterclasses and even 2016 as interim getting beat by Florida and Bama the way we did

What you say when you have low confidence in what you are saying.

So criticism is never warranted for O cuz he won a Natty?

Everybody knows at Bama that is Saban’s defense, at Georgia that is Kirby’s defense, and at Baylor that is Aranda’s defense. Coach O is a defensive guy but dline only. He never ran a defense and whatever defense we run is whoever the coordinator is. Every coach runs one side of the ball and coach O does neither.

Andy Reid was never a coordinator. I guess by your logic he’s ineligible to be LSU HC.

Think about what you said. “Won the natty.” Yes you retard, Coach O won a national championship 8 months ago. You idiots were over joyed. He should get the benefit of the doubt for at least one season. You jack offs are ridiculous. Criticize Pelini but I think O gets some slack for literally just winning a championship.

Three of the last four national championships were won by coaches who you would rule out.

DITTO..... but mostly Burrow... Without him a 10-2 or 9-3 team at best. The Joe and Cam shows were "lightning in a bottle". That happens every now and then with special players, but very, very rarely. Has very little to do with coaching, especially Orgeron, who really has not accomplished much of anything other than last year.

I mean Brady is doing very well with a carolina offense that most expected to be trash

Lol someone asks you a simple question back and you resort to name calling. You are so educated.

O deserves to be questioned for Pelini and Linehan. Literally 3 of his 5 coordinator/Passing Game Coordinator hires have been fricking awful. That isn't on Pelini, that is on O. He gets praise for last year but this is a new year. He is a top paid head coach so criticism for losing to fricking Moo State and Mizzou is warranted.
