If Florida ever became it's own country

They have a huge economy and population, the most port access on the east coast, a giant agricultural industry, some oil production, a unique and vintage tourist industry, a large, fervent anti communist population, lots of culture and labor, and, most of all, perhaps the best leadership in the nation right now.
I'm just saying, when it all goes to shite, I'm going to the Sunshine State.

They have a space industry too.

The huge population would be a no go for me. South Dakota and Kristi Noem would be more my style.

Florida is my least favorite state, except maybe Kansas. I try not to ever go to either one. There's a reason that Florida has a reputation for crazy people. That's because it's true. Full of crazies.

There is crazy people in every state . Our state is so crazy we are a purple state with a republican Governor and senators . Hate to see what you call Alabama and Louisiana.

I can live anywhere I want to and the east central coast of FL is good living - great weather, no state income tax, no tax on groceries or drugs, the space industry. I do hope the folks moving here from NY, NJ, etc. leave their voting habits from whence they came.

Basically zero oil production

I agree with "perhaps the best leadership right now" but think how close, how unbelievably close, Gillam was to winning the election. It is why I am, at best, cautiously optimistic about Florida going with the President.

But what about when the whole state is under water because of climate change, costal erosion, hurricanes, etc.. ?

You forgot to add a huge influx of dems that are ruining the state.

Curious where do you live? If you say Alabama - that’s the biggest shithole in America
