I think you are reaching here. I remember that exchange and I think Kamala was just relieved to move on from a topic she was getting destroyed on and she knew she had nothing left to say. It was just one of many snide remarks made by her when she had nothing substantive to say.

My actual guess is she was trying to be funny:
I think she was being flip about segueing into a Biden -Harris White House.

I think this is the case.
I know people that agree with what the other person is saying in conversation no matter what the topic is.
person A- "so I was taking the kids to school and it was raining hard"
person B interjects "oh I know it was raining hard"
even though person B wasn't there

Yep. When she said it I thought at the time, "she's been given the questions", but honestly I went into it figuring she had been given the questions. All you gotta do is look at who the "moderator" was.
