Have never used a Yeti product, did research and bought a Ozark small cooler from Wal Mart for about 1/3 the price. Go to youtube and research comparisons between the two, it's an eye opener whether a small tumbler or large chest; Ozark consistently does as well overall in all these tests where comparable size products are filled with ice, timed for several hours or days. Here's one as example as the Yeti after timed test has a very small amount of more ice....$300 vs $85:

BTW, Yeti tumbler is even more ridiculous because you aren't trying to preserve and keep hot or cold foods/drinks for hours or days, only want to keep my coffee hot or drink cold for an hour or two.

RTIC will do the same for less but to answer your question I think 45q is about perfect
I would love a yeti, but those cheap coleman and igloo coolers have their benefits.
Usually do the job, don't mind using them for deer and fish cuts. If you leave it somewhere or it gets traded around with your hunting buddies and you never see it again, no big deal.
And if I ever forget and leave something in them and they get nasty, it's an easy call just to chunk the whole thing and get a new one.
Never owned a Yeti, but I'd like one. Figured by now one would show up at Christmas or a birthday, but it hasn't. The 45q seems like a good all purpose size.

Lots of variables.
Loading by self. Just me using it. I’d go 20 qt. Or soft bag
Loading by self and you and wife. Same as above or 45 qt
Loading by self and family. 45-65qt.

I have a 65 qt Yeti and it is a handful. Plan on getting the 45 qt for day parties and to keep in the truck.

Other than aesthetics why get a roto mold. Are you going puddle jumping in canada ? Are you spending days at a time away from humanity?
I have igloos 120qt that will keep ice for 3 days in the shade while being used regularly. And they cost 70 dollars and weigh maybe 15 lbs empty and have wheels with a slide handle . This is America you spend you money on what you like but id rather throw that extra 200 bucks on the beer to go in it.

Look at the 110, don't go small on someone else dime. Keep in mind the height of the cooler if you own a truck with a bedcover. If the cooler ever gets stolen get a police report send it in to Yeti and the will give 30% off next purchase.

I only buy yeti products.
The lawn chair was the best thing I’ve ever bought. Also have the tackle box.

This. I don't need a cooler that keeps ice for a month, but I do need a cooler that the handle doesn't explode when I pick it up, the hinges aren't plastic flaps, I can stand on it, etc etc.
I wish somebody would make a rotomolded cooler with half the insulation (or less if practical) but all the construction details. The stupid things are heavy before you put a single ice cube in them.
