Never thought I was until I opened my eyes during an MRI.

I'd been through multiple CTs/PETs over the years, and they were not totally comfortable but no big deal. I had a 45 minute MRI the other day and had to do a few breathing exercises. shite's for real.

Eta: I had to keep from having an OCD-induced panic attack by distracting myself from thinking stuff like "What is there was an earthquake, and everyone ran out and left me in this thing?" Yeah cuckoo.

Next time you have an MRI bring a sleep eye mask. Most labs have them but just in case they don't it's best to have your own. I wear it because I don't want to accidentally open my eyes while in the tube and see the ceiling that close to my face.

I've only had MRIs done on my knees, so not too bad since my upper body is out. The first one they let me ready a book during it, the second one I just had to lie there.

I can get pretty claustrophobic though, the Nutty Putty cave story freaks me out.

MRI

That’ll do it.

I also had a bout when I squeezed into the crawl space to fix some plumbing under our house. Not enough room for me to push myself back out after I pulled myself in with my arms. I told my wife she’d have drag me out by my feet as soon as I shouted. She was afraid she wasn’t strong enough. I told her when she heard my blood curdling scream she’d find the strength.
