14 NFL Picks
(9 underclassmen declarations)

Plus

Eric Monroe
Tyler Shelvin
Jamaar Chase
Kary Vincent
Justin Thomas
Marcel Brooks

All of these impact or experienced players not to mention yesterday you had your best player and most experienced lineman out in Stingley and Logan leaving just 3/22 starters from the Championship game playing yesterday

Mother of Pearl that's some serious turnover.

This years turnover was the most by any Championship team in the history of CFB. We will have some growing pains for sure

This is a rebuilding year, not a reloading year. LSU wasn’t deep enough to take that kind of attrition.

MSU isn't Clemson or Alabama. They are very average players that were better coached.

I find it funny that people refuse to consider that the biggest change was going from not having Brady to having Brady to not having Brady and from having a guy like Dave Aranda to having a guy like Bo Pelini.

No adjustments were made. There's little difference in playcalling even though we have totally different strengths and weaknesses on offense.

You may get flack for that take but I do believe Pellini would take liberties with Kary roaming centerfield. That pick in the Peach vs Oklahoma for reference

Well then you'll love 2021. Because we will likely have almost everybody eligible back.

True about the turnover. It's like the JV against the varsity. They will improve going forward.

Do you not think that the offense looked better in the second half than the first?

Joe Brady was helping call plays for Burrow, Chase, Jefferson, Clyde, Cushenberry, and DLewis...

None of those guys were on the field yesterday.

I'm glad you brought this up. You know Burrow was here before Brady was. How did the offense look with Burrow being coached by E before Brady showed up?

Likewise, im betting that the same people we watched yesterday would have looked much better had Brady still been here.

I think that is almost 3 recruiting class cycles to replace the depth in a meaningful way.

One of my recent thoughts was “What was the purpose of opting out?”

I believe it was so players who did not want to expose themselves to covid could lay out AND COME BACK NEXT SEASON without penalty or loss of remaining eligibility. These guys just fricking quit and there is nothing stopping players from doing it next year or after.

If the guys that opted out (not just LSU guys) this year fall in the draft and lose $$$$, then that will stop players from doing it next year.

What really hurt was losing Chase and Shelvin less than a month before kick off and Stingley and Logan the day before.

The loss of the remaining starters could have been lessened with a spring season. Unfortunately that didn't happen.

A sophomore Marcel Brooks would Help that pass rush ... Eric Monroe can't be worse than what Todd Harris showed. Tyler Shelvin would have been more disruptive than Ika for however many plays he could of played. Vincent wasn't a world beater but >>>>>>>>>> Evans Flott Ward.

Chase needs no explanation.
