Power blinked once here in Baton Rouge
Peak winds have passed

My tree snapped in half and fell on the power line to the meter in Baton Rouge Inniswold area.
Lost power. The tree snapped exact to the length on space between my fence and the house. Thank Jesus for that.
Going to be last in line since the whole neighborhood has power

How are the roofs
Don't know yet. Two very heavy Acadian style rockers on my front porch are completely gone. A cypress swing that was taken off the chains and sat on the porch has blown away out into the yard. I've been afraid my roof was gonna blow off. The walls, floors and ceilings are creaking ... it's nerve wracking.

Received word from our security system that we lost power. Glad we evacuated now I was feeling a little goofy for evacuating when I saw how much the storm was deteriorating. But with a baby, no power = no fun. So, now I’m glad we left.
