Where I live it’s a $500 fine for not wearing a mask outdoors. 121 tickets were written last month.

1. Government should not have the power to MANDATE the mask.
2. Anyone who does not VOLUNTARILY wear the mask in a crowded environment (absent recent negative test results for himself IN HAND) is a self-centered arse, willing to risk infecting others in order to prove what a toughie he is.

I don't follow arbitrary and pointless rules just to make other people feel better about themselves or to justify government overreach into private lives.
