I don't have time to read through this whole thread, so I don't know if it's been discussed yet.

With the officer being charged for his bullets hitting adjacent apartments. Has it been mentioned how irresponsible and dangerous that is in the first place. Maybe it can't be helped, but in my mind if a no-knock warrant is being served, there is a possibility of gunfire being exchanged, as no one likes having their door rammed down.

What if one of the stray bullets hit a 5 year old in the neighbors apartment, etc. It's just very risky.

WTF is up with so many officers conveniently having their body cams turned off. If officers are performing a warrant, then they should especially have their cameras on. I know the cops aren't guilty of murder, but I think there should be some sort of discipline for cops if they're involved in a shooting incident but they forgot to turn their cameras on.

Is everyone here in agreement it was not a “no knock” warrant? Because they announced they were the cops first

Eh. One witness in the upstairs apartment claims they announced "Police". Walker's testimony, all of the other witnesses in the apartments next to them all say they didn't hear them announce.

I think it's fair to say its disputed.

would also think you could reasonably assume that Taylor and Walker heard them since they were standing in the hallway when they entered and were not in bed

Yea unless you think they were sleeping or hanging out in the hallway with a pistol in hand.

I know why, but I also find it hard to believe that ESPN has this as one of their lead stories.

No. It was changed to one but we all know why.

Why would a black state AG create a fake witness to protect a couple of Louisville city cops?

Or it's fair to say witnesses told one thing to reporters and something different to a secret GJ so they didn't have to fear mob justice.

Which might be why they asked the AG today if he'd release the GJ testimony. He declined.

I'd say 911 received several calls stating there was shooting going on and to send Police. But of course, who would need to ask for Police if so many neighbors knew they were already there?

How did they know for sure it was the police?

I got bumped and pulled over by a guy in an unmarked crown vic on the Spillway one day. He ran into me. I was like what the frick, then he followed me and turned on a blue light.

I was in shock so I kept driving for a few miles. He finally got on the side of me and flashed a badge. I was still skeptical so I called 911 and pulled over. I had my gun, locked my doors and waiting for the 911 operator to confirm it was a cop.

It turned out to be an undercover Jeff Parish officer that was speeding on the Spillway in St John Parish.

LSP ended up showing up and took his side and I got a ticket for illegal lane change, but that’s not what happened but his word against mine.

Better yet there was no damage to either vehicle, it was a little rub, a little bump, I didn’t even feel it,

3 weeks later this piece of shite filed an injury claim against my insurance and they gave him $2500.

Maybe I'm not understanding completely but that is the jest of what I said. Upstairs claims it was. The same floor no one knew. To the point they may have thought it was a shootout between citizens, not Police. And to send them immediately.

Yep I have his name. I know who he is. He’s a crooked cop, he has a history. Don’t worry his day is coming.
