Moos brought that Nebraska routinely has one of the toughest crossover schedules. For example, since joining the B1G, Nebraska has been scheduled against OSU 8 times while Iowa has only had to play them twice

Crossovers are on a rotation. They were locked between 2016-21, so I’m not sure what Bill Moos wanted the B1G to do. Ohio State was Nebraska’s protected crossover, hence the disparity in games played. This will change in 2022 — Ohio State will be Wisconsin’s protected crossover, but it’s currently Michigan. In 2022, it’ll be Nebraska/Michigan.

Interesting to know the B1G cares not for important rivalry games!

Right, but what’s the point of protected crossovers for 5 years? It’s a rediculous idea if they are scheduled based on ratings. If it’s on talent, makes some sense. Who the hell wants to watch Iowa play Rutgers for the next 5 years?
