British Columbia has fewer wildfires and they're all near the US border.

Global warming has not made it to Texas yet.

It’s not the same climate, geology or age of forestry. Or types of plants and trees. It’s not the same rain patterns, temperature, humidity, etc.

This is stupid.

where's that article talking about how every time California has a wildfire, the state then annexes the burnt acres as a protected area so they can nurse it back to health, and then years later happens to find a gold mine on it

Seriously?! Sorry, I’m just shocked that would be true. I’m surrounded by 3 national parks and the forests just seem to go on forever. Good job, Texas.

We have our moments in the Lone Star State

Sheltered in place a few years ago while the wildfire marched forward

It's a legit discussion if you are blaming global warming.

The fact is that global warming had no affect on this. It is cause by local climate, forest management and infestations causing massive tree deaths.

is very interesting how fire tend to respect borders...

or maybe....just maybe liberals blatantly mismanaged the forests like they do practically everything else.

More importantly, it's not the same political party running the state.

I didn't know Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, and Utah were liberal states.
