Just for the hell of it. We all know we have quarterback questions which certainly will affect our record this year. But what the hell, what do yall think LSU would do this year if Jarrett Lee had a redshirt freshmen year like Tommy Hodson had back in 86'. The sky would be the limit in my opinion, and who knows, stranger things have happened like say Pitt beating WVU last year! We will see, but hell, it might be Hatch anyway, but it is fun to ponder!

IF Lee turns out to be another Hodson, a few LSU QB recruits are going to be riding the pine, switching positions or going to another school.....

He has a shot. He has more good receivers to catch his passes.

Correct me if I'm wrong, or misunderstood the intent of the comment, but I believe Lee is a red-shirt freshman...

...just sayin!

Moss was exciting and Wendell Davis was awesome but only Davis compares to the three that we have available this year.

I don't no there fella. I saw Wendell Davis make some spectacular catches. We played Mississippi State in Jackson one year and the dude caught everything.

I have a feeling Lee is going to surprise all of us. He was a stud in H.S. We all thought he was a great recruit. Let's see what happens, but I have a good feeling...

I'm agreeing with you. Wendell Davis could beat a team deep or he could make cuts like Reed. He and Hodson could beat teams to death with timing patterns. Hodson and Davis as well as Rohan and Reed were probably the best combinations that I have seen at any university.

I don't know if it's selective memory, but Reed seemed to catch everything tossed at him. He was amazing at LSU.

Lee compared to Hodson? This is not fantasy land!!! Lets be prepared from some problems at QB (maybe big problems) and think about a 19-20 year-old sleeping the night before his first game ,thinking about playing in front of a crowd of 90,000 fans that can cheer him one minute and boo him the next. This not, not going to fun for him the next 4 weeks. I hope he does great, but be real!!! Compared to Hodson? I do not what to lose games like Tommy did with all those side-line interceptions that were returned for TDs. Tommy Hodson. Goodness gracious!!
