Yes, we elected a drunk old lady to the highest office in this State... not a highly qualified, drunken, old lady mind you... She has not been successful at anything she has done and has screwed up so many things but this was still the best we had to offer...

Ladies and gentlemen, I give you Guvnah MeeMaw...

She is the reason Doug Jones is in the Senate...

It's very much an old, south Alabama accent.

Roy Moore is the reason Doug Jones is in the U.S. Senate. I'm sure you'll disagree, but his being unlikeable and his baggage led to likely Republican voters staying home.

I refused to vote for Moore, so did my dad. And my dad worked for the republican party in Alabama for over a decade.

Actually, no one in my family voted for Moore. frick him. He is a piece of shite.

Really I'd put that more on Bentley and the Alabama GOP. The stench around Luther Strange being put into that seat was enough to kill his chances in the election and the attack campaign they waged against Mo Brooks left Moore an open road to the nomination.

I still half-suspect the GOP was responsible for the sudden appearance of Moore's accusers. A lot of money wanted Strange in that seat.

Cucks and dumbasses like VaBamaMan and his pappy are why Doug Jones is in the Senate.

The same ignorant shits like who parade themselves around on message forums claiming to be conservatives and Republicans who want Originalist justices appointed to courts got cucked by the Washington Post and the DNC when a conservative Republican and Originalist candidate was up for election. When it comes down to it, they just like the sound of calling themselves conservatives and Originalists and that’s the farthest extent of their political ideology and philosophy.

They would rather have Doug Jones. The unarguable truth is that he more closely aligns with their values (anti-life, anti-Constitution, high taxes, partisan impeachment, etc.).

Well don't worry, I'm sure Roy Moore will set himself about some other grift and you can support him in that endeavor

No argument about Roy Moore but her rescheduling the special election is what created the situation and in turn led to Doug Jones...

I don’t particularly care if Roy Moore runs for anything. I supported Mo Brooks getting Sessions’ seat.

But, I know this: Roy Moore was a solid and reliable conservative vote for life and liberty and Originalist justices and conservative policy.

He wasn’t my first choice. But, I damn sure voted for him rather than being cucked by the lies of the DNC and their allies at the WaPo.

I’ll vote for a conservative and Originalist with a reliable record any day of the week, while you run around and merely call yourself a conservative while making accusations of grifting without evidence against those who really are.

He's an extreme narcissist who prioritized himself over faith to the detriment of his faith, his state, his Court and the electoral balance of the US Senate. He spit in the face of people who cared about the same things he claimed to, haughtily disregarding wise counsel from like-minded Christians and conservatives along the way.

Good riddance.
