I loved Shep and glad he had a long NFL career. I dont understand why everyone is saying Les underused him. Shep was coming off of a great sophomore campaign and was ready to shine....but then Odell and Jarvis arrived on campus. Les/offensive staff made the right call.

Les not playing him actually worked out perfectly for his nfl career. He came out of LSU knowing how to block and do dirty work. He basically did that his whole in the league.

O needs to get him in with the program somehow. Russell Shepard got fricking robbed by Les and you have never heard him complain once. Spotless record after 7 years in the league with no scandals or anything other than a history of good character and hard work.

One of my favorite recruits. Les shorted him.

Back in those days if he had gone somewhere Oregon he would’ve been a monster in the spread/RPO offense

But he probably got a lot more well rounded as an NFL player by coming here

Does he own a waste management company? Lol

Doesn't he look like an old 30?

Best thing that happened to him was Les converting him to WR

He shouldn’t have went to LSU, though

I’ll always remember the long jet sweep early in the 2010 Bama game. That was my personal favorite day in TS.

Good luck Shep!

it's almost as if the wildcat was invented for Russ. sadly, Leslie was invented to ruin qb dreams.
