You're just pissed because O$U in the playoff means one less SEC team...

Nico Collins opted out for Michigan (top WR) and former 5 star QB Dylan McCaffrey will reportedly enter the transfer portal after allegedly losing the starting QB battle. Dylan was annointed the savior to Michigan Football when he signed.

For Penn State, star TE Pat Friermuth reportedly left the team previously but that was never confirmed. He joined James Franklin on a zoom call and said he will stay with the team. No word on LB Micah Parsons.

Ohio State Guard Wyatt Davis and CB Shaun Wade haven't signed with agents but have yet to opt back in as of this post.

Apparently their best lineman also opted out. Yikes

IIR, he opted out even before the Big cancelled the season. I'm sure he's done

Two studs. Hopefully they opt back in. OSU will cakewalk to the title game.

Their top OL (Jalen Mayfield) and top DB (Ambry Thomas) both opted out a while ago. No word on them either.

Thanks.

Man, I am glad y’all are playing, but I’m scared about what these stipulations could do for the CFBP committee. I don’t want to be put in the position of having to choose between a 9-1 SEC team or a 6-0 Ohio State team.

And with no OOC games to help evaluate the conferences against each other, there is just going to wind up being way too much subjective “eyeball test”ing. I’d almost rather them just say we’re taking the P4 champions only. Y’all (the conferences) figure out the criteria for sending us (the committee) your champion/representative and we’ll seed them from there.

Wade and Davis are 100% coming back. That was nothing more than a ploy to help speed this whole thing along.

I hope so. Ohio State is deep but replacing two first team preseason All-Americans isn't easy for any team.

I agree.

Each conference picks a champion and we settle it all on the field.

This tells you everything about the different fb cultures at mich and OSU

OSU players are just more motivated. Has been a problem for years and years

OSU is a championship caliber team. Michigan is not.

They are a championship team because they care and are motivated.

I cannot remember the last time an OSU team failed to execute a big play vs mich.

I think it says more about their national standing and championship prospects than the culture itself. In other words, it's easier to come back when you're a national championship contender. Although the fact that Michigan isn't may reflect a cultural issue itself since it doesn't have the excuse or baseline expectations of say a Northwestern.

I think it has more to do with the talent levels than anything (both the raw talent and the development of that talent). I don't think some extra motivation is going to suddenly make Michigan as good as more talented teams like OSU, Clemson, LSU, Alabama, etc. Now being a championship contender may ADD motivation, but motivation isn't the factor that gets them in contention in the first place.

Then explain why teams like Purdue, Iowa, psu, and MSU have given OSU far more fits than mich has?

PSU regularly plays OSU close and looks their equal. PSU does not have more talent on paper than mich

MSU went into Columbus and won few years ago

Purdue and Iowa have blown out OSU in recent past

Those teams treat Ohio State like it's their Super Bowl.

Harbaugh acts like it's just another game.
