Several Clippers were so fatigued during Game 7 against Denver that they struggled to play stints longer than three minutes and asked out of the game for a breather in the fourth quarter, sources told @TheUndefeated.

That's what happens when you load manage your team all year long. They got what they deserved.

That's as pathetic as Doc Rivers adjustments

Good news for them, they get to load manage for a couple months now

You mean if you take games off all season you won't be ready to play every other day? Shocking.
Clippers losing is good for the NBA. No one wanted to see every team load managing all season like they did. They were rightfully not rewarded.

It’s still the right strategy because we’re smarter than we were back in the day when every player was expected to play 82 games a year.

As Russilo has rightly pointed out the Clippers carried themselves all season as if they were two time defending champs. They have never won anything. You can’t just all of a sudden become a good team when you half assed it all year.

They need even more rest? Really?

how did the Spurs with Duncan, Parker, and Ginobili load manage and win?

The core of those Spurs teams have been around a lot longer than the Clippers.

Simmons and Russillo were on this all year long. They carried themselves like a team that had been there before, like they'd just turn it on in the playoffs. Kawhi was the only one that could actually say that.
