They're fine. It's apparently a very dark film, which some critics did not like.

Saw the trailer on Netflix the other night, and I thought it looked great. The cast is top notch, and I love slow burning films.

I read the book. It was quite depressing. Bunch of fricked up people doing fricked up shite. That's my review.

It’s depressing as hell. Just watched it and it’s heavy. I enjoyed it still, but I do t think I’ll watch again.

Dope arse movie. I really liked it. So many storylines but it all wrapped up well.

Bill Skarsgard looks like Michael Shannon bastard lol

Oooof. Got about 45 minutes left. It’s very well done but tough to watch. Don’t think I’ll be reading the book now even though I just bought it.

There are a few scenes where Bill Skarsgård looks identical to Joe Burrow

Just finished. I really liked it. It's a slow burn, but I was never bored. It's definitely not for everyone. I can see why reviews were mixed, but I dug it.

Roy the spider preacher....that is the same actor who played Dudley in Harry Potter. I feel old.

It's very superficially dark. It's an episode of "Ain't Dem Poor People so Poor and Awful?" with some pulp violence and a bunch of Brit and Australian actors trying out their most ridiculous "American rural" accents.

It's almost 2.5 hours long. It's rare that I hate a movie with this caliber of cast and director this much. I don't know what Antonio Campos was thinking.

Good eye, I couldn’t place him. He was amazing in his limited role. Reminded me of a grown up version of the kid from “Children of the Corn.”

Haven't seen it but this was obvious from the trailer.

Harry Melling. He's carving out a pretty steady career for himself. He appeared in a significant supporting role in the Johnny Depp/Mark Rylance movie, Waiting for the Barbarians, and he was the villain in The Old Guard. Also appeared as a the limb less storyteller in The Ballad of Buster Scruggs.

Just finished it. Great great movie, but holy hell, what a downer. It's on my "never watch again" list, along with Uncut Gems. Made me about as nervous as UG did, as well.
