As far as music contracts, royalties etc
Those artists willingly sign those deals.
I’m well aware there has always been shady practices by music managers and unfair deals, but the artists are not forced into it, and those with real talent are still becoming millionaires.

I like Kanye. But ...
... “his people” aren’t enslaved.
... his life is not on the line.
... the music industry and NBA are supported by people just like him daily.
... and he certainly isn’t a new prophet of Abrahamic religions.
