So when you add in the west coast, about 18-20m people watched?

That's a pretty good number for a boycott.

People playing this down are missing all the other forms of revenue that may take a hit. The only way the players keep getting massive contracts is via tv contracts. Fewer viewers in the short term not that big a deal, over the long term, it can be deadly.
