That doesn't mean much to me. Richt's two best teams at Georgia didn't win the SEC (2007 and 2012). Spurrier's best team at Florida was 2001, not 1996. Tressel's best team at Ohio State was 2005, not 2002.

And I would argue that 2015 was Meyer's best Ohio State team, Carroll had several teams (2007 and 2008) that were in the same league as his title-winning teams if not better, and so on and so on. Weird shite happens in a sport...A) being played by 18 - 22 year olds, B) with a fairly limited number of possessions within a game, C) a limited number of games and data points in a single season, and D) highly asymmetric scheduling.
