Legality Questions Plague Leftist Fundraising Giant ActBlue as New Analysis Reveals Over 48% of Its Millions of Donors Are Allegedly Unemployed.
September 12, 2020, 12:41 pm
Analysis of Fundraiser’s 2019-2020 Records Reveal Receipt of More than $340 Million in Donations Allegedly Come from the Unemployed.
ActBlue is undeniably the cash cow of the progressive movement boasting over $6 billion raised for progressive candidates since 2004. The organization funneled more than $1.5 billion to democrat candidates in 2018 alone and has moved close to $900 million to assist progressives thus far in 2019-2020.
The powerhouse presence of ActBlue has allowed it to negotiate a special relationship with banks so that it does not have to reveal donor names when processing its gift cards.
Some have long suspected the organization breaks large donations down into smaller gifts to avoid campaign finance laws and Federal Election Commission scrutiny. The structure allows illegal donations to be broken down into smaller $100 gifts from claimed US sources with little chance of exposure.
But now, computer analysis calls into question the legitimacy of these gifts. Forensic analysis reveals that 4.7 million of the 9.7 million ActBlue donors are reported to be unemployed. That’s a whopping 48.4% of all ActBlue donors in 2019-2020.
In comparison, the Republican supporting WinRed reports 4.1%% of its donors were unemployed, a figure that roughly matches the national unemployment rate during that time period.
“Certainly this raises questions which must be answered,” states Phill Kline, Director of the Amistad Project of The Thomas More Society which along with Take Back Our Republic obtained the records..
Similar disparities exist between funding sources for the Democrat National Committee and the Republican National Committee. DNC reports 40.6% of its donors are unemployed and the RNC 6.4%, and with the Biden for President Committee which reports 51% of its donors as unemployed compared to 2.7% of the Trump donors.
“When Take Back Our Republic first pointed out in 2015 that foreign interests could potentially use gift cards to flood money in through ActBlue’s unverified credit card system, more than 100 Members of Congress stopped using the system and 31 Democrats joined 52 Republicans in trying to outlaw the practice,” said John Pudner, President of Take Back Action Fund.
“It took vendors only a few hours to change their set up to allow the banks to verify if donations were really from Americans. Unfortunately as things turned harshly partisan after Trump’s election, Act Blue doubled down and moved more and more candidates onto an unverified system at a time when intelligence officials warn foreign interests want to impact who wins our elections.
TBAF asks Aft Blue to join the hundreds who have stopped using this system.” Kline points out that only 16% of American adults are retired, and therefore even if people without a job gave political contributions as often as those with jobs this would only include 20% of all donors. Even in 2018 people above the age of 65 were the only age group that voted Republican, so if anything fewer than 20% of donors not employed would be expected to give to Democrats while the percent giving to Republicans might be a bit higher. “ActBlue claims it has convinced millions of unemployed persons to gift to Democrat candidates under a structure that allows the organization to escape scrutiny,” Kline said. “Perhaps it’s time to take a closer look.”

That's because conservatives value success and hard work.. progressives do not.

ActBlue is a giant money laundering scheme for the dems. This shouldn't be news to anyone who has actually looked into them. This is also the payment processor used on BLM's website for "donations to BLM".

The next time a prog is on here complaining about Citizens United and money in politics, link them to this thread.

Don’t pay taxes, you don’t get to vote. Pretty simple.

Sooner or later their strategy will be having conservatives pay for Dems political action.
Oh wait, that’s already happening.
