What a fricking film. Perfect soundtrack. Perfect cast. Perfect script. I love everything about it.
ETA: It’s obviously fictional in a lot of ways. I’ve never cared about that.

It’s really amazing.
It has no business being that good.. but it’s the fastest 2 hours . The movie flies .

Tight writing, great story, and moves at a pace that is irresistible. I haven't sat through two hours that went by more quickly than when watching this one. No performance sticks out; it's just a solid movie all the way around. 9/10

P.S. Jesse Eisenberg is the most annoying actor of the 2010s. Glad he isn't getting near the roles as he did.

Are you saying it’s overrated because of the real life people it’s about? What Facebook has become should have no impact on judging a 2 hour movie

While social media has been an awful development long term Facebook is undeniably one of the top 5 most influential companies of the last 20 years. Combine that with some interesting stealing and backstabbing that went into its formation makes a very compelling story.

I'm saying it's overrated because it's a good movie, not great. It gets more love than it deserves. And it's overrated because the people it's about are mostly unlikeable scumbags. And it's overrated because Facebook (and social media in general) is fricking toxic. So D, all of the above. Feel free to use your own criteria to judge a film instead of dictating what I should use.

You can do whatever you want, I just don’t understand the logic that Facebook becoming toxic (which I agree with) somehow affects the quality of a movie made in 2010
