I'd like you to understand something.

I recognize that a majority of players probably have different opinions, especially political, from me. And that's absolutely fine. I actually can still appreciate them and even root for them. I am very thankful they chose the school I root for. I wish them well post playing career. I don't even have an issue if they feel they want to march for what they perceive is needed.

While I disagree with most of Ryan Clark's opinions, the reason I feel the need to call him out is because I find him to be highly hypocritical. That's a separate issue. Had Ryan Clark not publicly trashed LSU in the manner he did, I probably wouldn't even be commenting about him. However since he did and he continues to put himself around LSU with that same mentality.. then I don't really care for it.

I'm really sorry to hear this. I hope one day that you find peace over all this. I appreciate your son came to LSU. I enjoyed following his career and I still wish him well in his NFL career as well as post-NFL life.

The fricking racism we are hearing in 2020 by people like Clark hasn’t been heard in 40 years minimum.

People like Clark are causing racism.

You just have it backwards on where the majority of the racial division is coming from nowadays. It's coming from people like Ryan Clark.

Almost all of these incidents with police could be avoided if folks would comply with police. Where in God's name did you get the idea you don't have to ? It's gotten a lot of folks killed.

George Floyd-Once he was handcuffed and on the ground on his stomach was COMPLIANT. He simply asked the cop to get his knee off his neck. HE WAS NO THREAT at this time. Result of being compliant: DEAD

Breonna Taylor-In her own home, in her bed. No knock, plain clothes cops burst in, shoots her. She WASN'T given an opportunity TO COMPLY OR NOT. Result: DEAD

Philando Castille-Traffic stop, was asked to see Driver's License and Registration, he clearly stated to the officer he has a Conceal/Carry and Weapon is on him. Officer asked to see registration, Castille reached to get Registration, officer shoots. Result: DEAD even when he wad COMPLIANT.

Tamir Rice-12 year old in a park playing and have a TOY GUN, Officers arrive on the scene, sees the young boy with his TOY GUN, within 6 seconds of arriving on the scene, 12 year old Tamir Rice is DEAD. Wasn't given the option to COMPLY.

So all of you know it alls, tell us how we should COMPLY. And I'm speaking to the idiots that thinks it just a matter of being COMPLIANT.

Ok.

Tell your son to give his spot to a less talented player of a different race.

Equality doesn’t mean equality of outcome and unfortunately, that is what a lot of this is actually about.

Your son went to the same high school as I did. He went to the same university.

We have equality.

He could have been compliant by not being on drugs

Video of this doesn’t show what he was reaching for.

Sign me up for that!

The idea that politics and race coincide with one another is where this falls short. You can agree with certain things on a political spectrum and not be a racist and vice versa. We need to identify ACTUAL racists and call them out. Not just people who disagree with a persons political opinion.

It sucks, but I think this is the only course Coach O has. If he keeps resisting, Ryan will keep trashing the school and trying to reach players.

I think it’s a situation of keeping your friends close, and enemies closer.

I’m still worried that Clark will constantly try to be in the ears of players spewing his rhetoric.

Nothing I said was racist. You said let’s create equality. Shouldn’t that start with you?

I don’t have any issue with your son, but I do take issue with you implying that a fan base that largely supported your son through his own poor choices is now racist because we don’t agree with your definition of equality.

It is about compliance in most cases. The guy who was just shot and paralyzed didn't comply, had the audacity to reach into his car. Those cops had no idea what he was coming out with. In Ferguson Missouri, shooting was determined to be justified, despite all BS to the contrary. I could go on, wise up.
