I just got done zooming with Brian Broussard of #LSU Ticket Office, allow unpack some of this info: They've gotten 38% opting in from season ticket holders which equates to about 28-30K fans. They're at 25%, so they'll need to chop some.

Sounds like not too many drastic cuts will be needed as far as allotment goes.

I only have 1 ticket (was going to add more this year before all this) and I made it into the national championship so I’d think I’ll make the cut to keep my tickets for this fall.

I have only seen an "opt out" option. (so I am assuming 62% opted out first go around)...now there is another opt out deadline tomorrow. I am assuming they are thinking more ticket holders will opt out by tomorrow due to the new stipulations.

Not that it's that crazy but I've never heard of anyone having a lone season ticket

I just graduated. We still go sit in the student section so we can all sit together (Because our season tickets are all over the place) and squeeze out just a few more memories before we accept the endless void of adulthood and can continue to act like hooligans before we let the blue hairs dictate that we sit the entire game

Like I said I was preparing to add more this year as things start to shift.

I think some will opt in thinking they can double or triple money by scalping them. I don’t think people will pay big bucks for such a watered down atmosphere with no tailgating

As a season ticket holder and former student, I would prefer LSU give ticket priority to students to attend home games over season ticket holders.

Can't imagine my senior year at LSU and not being allowed in Tiger Stadium.

Sounds like it will have to be students who bring us up to 25K attendance with so many opting out.

I'm 90% sure I'm opting out with 4 tickets. If they would have told me my seating would be in the same section(413) it would move to 50/50 on opting out.

See my response to the first comment. Fresh out of school and still sit in the student section with the gang. was moving to better more permanent seats this year as a more permanent group formed who wanted full tickets. Before it was a hodgepodge so just getting my own ticket and sitting in the general admission area was the best solution.

Could well be more out after tomorrow. I originally opted in but have since decided to opt out. I emailed the ticket office this morning. With the deadline now being tomorrow, I’m guessing they will be able to accommodate all that still opted in. Just wasn’t going to be the same experience.

Opted out today as well. Kind of disappointed in myself, but oh well.
