Last time I went out fishing, my Lowrance unit just went into demo mode by itself. I turned it off and back on and all of my trails were gone. Anybody ever have this problem? I went through the menu and don’t see anything that jumps out to me to restore. The only thing I saw was to load trails from a memory card and they weren’t saved on my memory card. I had about a years worth of tracks, so it sucks they are all gone.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

I think you can back it up to your phone somehow. The phone connection on my Elite seems kinda silly though. Should it be bluetooth or wifi? It seems like it wants to connect on wifi. This doesn't seem to be ideal for getting texts and calls though.

Mine use to do it all the time. I would have trails that would drop out in the middle, start and end sometimes. I bought a new unit.

Went out yesterday and every track in my HDS7 was gone. Didn't record a new one the whole day, either. Freaking sucks.

Check the color of the trails. They may be a color that blends in with the background.

Need to back that up.
I like to take my trails and separate them into locations. Depending on where I'm at I can turn them off and on. Eventually too many trails on some of the not so powerful units can start slowing it down.
