Got a Call From LSU Ticket Office Today

I opted out. Three ways to handle it:
1.) Use money already spent to put toward next year.
2.) Refund all money; lose season tix
3.) Refund money minus $100 deposit per seat to keep season tix next year.
I opted for #3.

If they’re just now calling those who didn’t choose an option, that maybe tells me that not many people opted to keep tickets??

They should donate the seats to BLM and Gravy

That’s pretty shitty thing to do. Its not like they are accepting new ticket requests this year. They just want to make the interest.

I want a call telling me when I am getting my tickets.

I opted out for this year - I see where my tickets/parking is being refunded but no word on TAF donation per seat.

What we didn’t know was the process for opting out. We didn’t know how much the deposit was for keeping seats for next year.

How did the call begin? Were you offered any of your regular seats?
Posted on 9/8/20 at 7:20 pm to LuckySo-n-So
How many seats? Why not just roll over the money to next season?

negative...this was the option offered last month:
3. Request a Full Refund
Full refunds for ticket price and seat contributions can be requested from the ticket office via the opt out form. LSU ticketholders who request a full refund will be given the option to retain their seats for 2021 through a non-refundable deposit of $100 per seat. Refunds for those who choose not to use their 2020 tickets will receive a refund in 8-10 weeks.

Any reason you would pick #3 over #1? Seems like a waste of $100/ticket if you plan on keeping season tickets for next year.

Did you tell them to cut out the BLM crap? Because I would have

Anne,
While that information has been out there a while, they did not have other information:
-they “thought” that the invoices for next season will be sent out in November, and due shortly thereafter. Put this together with the 8-10 week wait for the refund, and this does not make sense.
-if the team, or the opponent has a COVID breakout, and a game is canceled, are those tix refunded.
I pushed my money to next season a while back due to the lack of answers for this season.

Does anybody else think that by the end of October/early November they will be selling general admission tickets to the remaining games ?

These are the same three options given before the original deadline last month, the only difference now is the schedule is known. Are they actively trying to get people to opt out or did you just come around to the idea?
