Nintendo to release Mario 3-pack on 9-18 (64, Sunshine, Galaxy), limited release

Switch release, obviously, available until March 2021
I've always said Metroid would be the game that would "force" me to get a switch, but this is a contender. But why does Nintendo continue to make these Disney limited release decisions? People really want your stuff. Why make it hard? I'd imagine they're only going to print so many physical copies.

Lots of scalpers in Nintendo management.

64 and Galaxy!
Is this up-res in anyway?
Edt: forgot what podcast I was listening to, but they brought up the point that all GC Mario titles had backpacks. Mansion and Sunshine. Never really thought about it before.

They may only offer as a cheaper bundle until then. After that, they may split them up and sell them individually.

No Galaxy 2? Hopefully that’s an unlockable feature.

Believe so. Their tweet mentions HD visuals.

Very frustrating. It’s just canned Roms and it’s fair to assume there’s no additional features
And no galaxy 2. GameCube and N64 Roms are pretty good so you’re buying Galaxy basically.

You guys think way too much of Nintendo

I’ll never understand Nintendo. This won’t be half the release it was billed as because they’re lazy (or cheap) and, I guess, assume people don’t want a Remastered and Retextured collection of all 4 games.
It’s lame.
I just hope like hell all that time they saved making this a piece of junk is being put into BOTW2

Definitely buying this
Same
Gives reason to turn on Switch. Not certain I've turned it on in 2 months. Didn't even make sure it was charged for the hurricane.

I was thinking that this could be a fun game to play during a flight. Would have been fantastic if it came out tomorrow.

fricking HYYYPED!!
Fiance loves Mario Odyssey and the classic Mario games. She's never played Mario 64, Sunshine or Galaxy though.
Can't wait to play all of those again
Also, Galaxy 1>>> Galaxy 2
Nintendo could shite in a box, charge $100 and I would buy it. It's the only company I'm a massive fanboy for

Can someone explain the VR Mario Kart stuff to me?
Is this a real game or just tech demo?

Same. Mrs. Vox finished Odyssey before I did, and she crushed 3D World on Wii U, too.
I just wish they'd redo each of those game with the Odyssey engine, and give us a new Mario Golf game, too.
A port of Toadstool Tour on GC would be a nice holdover.
Wonder if this release of the ports is to generate capital for the remasters?

What about Mario Party?
The SO hates games but is nearly addicted to Kart and Party at times.
We have been together for 10yrs, and it is the only games she will play.
I've noticed chicks usually all love TheSims and Mario Party.

Will buy with no regrets. Never played galaxy though but maybe it’s legit. Sunshine and 64 are worth it for me though.
