“Don’t resist a mugger, just hand over your wallet and you’ll be fine” “Don’t resist police, just comply and sort things out later” Both statements can be true, but neither is relevant when talking about the need to reduce crime or police violence. And neither makes the mugger or police officer less morally culpable for their actions.

Wow. Unless the police officers are trying to rob their person of interest and that person is resisting being robbed then this is the dumbest thing I've seen on the internet this week (it's only Tuesday).

How can the statement be true but not be relevant to reducing police violence. Police violence is a result of a bigger problem. We have every race in this country. Why is it that only one specific race and gender has problems with police violence? I'm not saying that it's right or that it doesn't exist but you have to address the cause of the problem to fix the problem.

I wonder what it would take for BLM to admit a shooting of a black criminal was justified.

It’s almost like whether nba players play or don’t play has nothing to do with whether cops shoot potentially armed suspects in the heat of the moment

Reminds me of the Chappelle R-Kelly skit - what would it take for you to find him guilty....whatch that skit and that would be about what it would take.

That would be ironic given most of the demographic they would be hoping to affect by this action DNGAF, and the demographic that most agree with their sentiments do GAF and would be most disappointed.

Work on your PR LAPD

He dropped the bundle

The police saw the gun

HE GRABBED FOR THE BUNDLE

Then the police shoot.

Why put out a press release where it is even questionable?

Did the dude have another gun that he was waving around? I sure as hell hope so. Why would you shoot the guy "after" he dropped his gun?

because you do not know if he has another gun

I guess they should just wait and see.

Yeah and it's a bad look to say that they pulled him over for anything related to his bike. Change the verbiage up, damn. Give yourselves a break.
