She is so correct here. Americans should be able to vote for whoever they want to without being shamed for doing so. That is freedom and every American should enjoy it.

It would seem based on the paper that all that she has to do is be a Democrat to lessen their mistrust. As for the paper earning her trust, based on what she wrote, it seems as though they have a whole lot of work to do.
