These games will spread Covid and cause outbreaks in these states. You know the great Big 10 commish isn’t in charge.

Damn, that’s a weak lineup compared to most years but I’m sure it’s virus related.

I hope they play them at 11am and 9:30 on Saturdays to replace the Big 10/PAC games.

I’m shocked you aren’t advocating to shut down HS football like you are with every other sport.

Despite the downvotes ITT you're getting, not many people do (and none of the people downvoting you do either). I'll live stream my high school's game every once in awhile, but I can't imagine many people with no vested interest watching a random high school game on a Friday night. And if you are someone who watches random high school games, you may want to reevaluate your priorities. That's a little much.

I don’t go out of my way to watch games on ESPN, but I always keep up with the local scene and state playoffs. For the most part, it’s football in a pure form. It’s cheap entertainment. If there’s a big game in town, I try to go. Community support for something like HS football is a good thing.

Fairhope beat Spanish Fort last week.

but that doesn't hurt their ranking apparently.

New rankings just came out. Spanish Fort dropped out of the 6A top 10. St. Paul's is #3 with 1 first place vote in 5A.

Watch St. Paul's Junior RB Jaylen Sulton (#1) - he has offers from Tennessee, FSU, Memphis, S Miss and South AL and should be a top recruit next season.
