Pelicans Big Board, Wings & Guards

I made this big board with only guys who I believe could be available around when the Pelicans pick. It’s why you don’t see LaMelo, Edwards, etc.
Let me know what you guys think! And if you have any questions about a prospect let me know, my breakdown on these guys goes a lot further than what I put in the video:

Nice video, thanks for sharing! You are a little higher on Maxey but if you believe in his shooting projection, then I wouldn't be mad at the pick at all. Good FT shooter so there's signs there.

Thanks! Yeah I really like Maxey lol I just think with his good form and ability to make free throws and mid range jumpers the 3pt shot will come. Even spotting up he was about average.

Maxey is a pest on defense. And he communicates and has a good IQ. Sign me up.

That’s why I like him so much. I often see him compared to guys who can get you buckets, but none of those guys defend anywhere near the level he does.

Very informative video, especially on the guys you had near the end who I didn't know as much about.
I also like Maxey a lot. He actually reminds me a good bit of Jrue. I love how athletic he is and how he is willing to use that on defense. The games I watched of his this year but I liked his shot and saw him taking good shots. He also seems to know his limits but wants to keep pushing those limits.

I actually liken Maxey to CJ McCollum. I think CJ gives you a little more 3pt scoring, but Maxey will give you a little more defense. Both are undersized combos, with the ability to score from all three levels, and with the ability to create scoring opportunities for themselves or teammates.

I noticed you didn’t have Killian Hayes in the list. Is that because you think he’s going top-5 or that he isn’t a fit for the team (keying in on his weakness outside the arc)?

I think he's going top 5, but I personally think he would be my #1 guy if we had a pick that early. I really like his game.
