I did years ago, a Ruger Super Blackhawk SS in .44 mag with a 10.5" barrel. It had a 4x Leupold on it and I took a deer at 75yds with no problem. I think (with a rest) up to about 150 would not have been a problem.

This for a few deer. Hand loads were good out to 100 yards.
Took a couple with a .38 too!

Sounds like mine but I have a Thompson Center scope. I hope to get a deer with it someday.
