Listen to The Bonfire, especially the Corey Feldman episodes. You'll laugh your balls off.

I'm on like 42. Just finished Russell Erxleben. I have to listen to podcast in order. I started with their Small Town Murder but got to one the subject liked to hear the sound of bones breaking and kind if broke into a sweat. Creeps me out a bit.
I like them. I caught ther Small Town Murder podcast live in Nashville last year. Saw them and Timesuck with Dan Cummings on the same day.
Crime in Sports, to me, is better than STM. It was their first one, and is their favorite one. You heard the Lenny Dykstra episode yet?

Unsolved new Orleans.
If you wanna hear about a pedophile new Orleans child abuse police detective that is still walking the streets of New Orleans especially since everyone knows he also killed some of the kids

The second season of "In the Dark" is great. About quadruple homicide at furniture store in Mississippi and the racist DA that has tried the same innocent man 6 times

Sword and Scale. Except the host is a douche but if you can get past that the stories are good
ETA: Saw someone else said Last Podcast on the Left. That and My Favorite Murder are good but also both have insufferable hosts imo
Damn.. all the good podcasts have obnoxious hosts

The are either obnoxious or they are super boring. Sword and scale is very well done.
The first degree is good when you realize two of the host are super hot

Good podcast, but of course one sided. Racist, maybe, but more incompetent DA and police work than anything. The only other suspect identified (by the podcast) was a black man.
The defense attorney (in at least one trail he was a black man) has as much responsibility in picking the jury as the prosecutor.
Ole Curtis was just the easiest target. Had a dim witted white man (instead of Curtis) had the same motive and opportunity, the DA would have gone after him with the same vigor.

My Favorite Murder
I listened to 5 minutes of the first episode when they first started the podcast because it was being pushed heavily by another podcast I listen to. I could not stand them. I went back later and tried to finish the episode. Nope....couldn't do it.

Another couple I have enjoyed is True Crime bullshite about the serial killer Israel Keyes (the first "season", it is onto another subject now).
And Up and Vanished. The first "season" of it is about the Tara Grinstead case in Georgia.
Both are pretty good with only one real host, but other collaborators who help out.

Yep, I started STM first and decided to try CIS. I like CrimeIS better. I'm old enough to recognize alot of the sports guys but as only as sports guys. So hearing the back stories and such is interesting. Being a JR, dumb, and a coke habit seem to be a common theme.

I recommend Up and Vanished, Culpable, and The Officers Wife. All true crime mysteries.
Monster DC Sniper is also good if you want a different view of the story.

Dr. Death is unbelievable...I’ve met the surgeon that pretty much turned him in. I’m in the business so it’s extra interesting to me.
Over My Dead Body
And $hit town is a crazy one set in Alabama.
I’m not big into crime podcasts, but those three stand out.
