Well this statement is just blatantly false. Anyone in this fan base that actually thought we were gonna make the playoffs in Year 1 of a rebuild already had way to high of expectations. We were a fringe playoff team at best, and had it not been for Covid we might have got the 8th spot.
LOL, shut the frick up.
The second we got Zion and BI, people were out here talking so much shite about how we were going to take down the Lakers.
Also, we never had peak-Zion so that plays into the disappointment.

Yeah after we got swept in the season against them there were still morons saying we could challenge the Lakers in the playoff

Any true fan is going to hope their guys put it together and beat a lakers type team. Any true fan also knew that this was unlikely and that we wouldn't see major improvements or structural changes until year 2.
Short season/ zion injury/ shite coach, yes all unfortunate and we still saw a lot of improvement.
The fact that we attracted valuable free agents like Redick and Favors after a decade of no one is a blessing and hopefully a foreshadowing.
We finally have like 15 draft picks along with many young assest to build on.
Future is bright Sons
