Give them a list of different things that could go in that spot and ask them which ones are approved. Then start grilling them on WHY those are approved and the blue line is not.

I agree that the thought of backing police being political is ridiculous, but the flag and slogan came up in response to the attached by BLM etc. I think the rules were meant to prevent this sort of shite show and of course the reactions from the trash make you want to strangle them, but I do think this is correct on making him remove.

Didn't see that part. Did the school allow Black Lives Matter type statements and disallow this student's choice? Seems to be something missing here in the story. If all political statements banned no problem. If the school system caved in just to appease the mob that's a big problem.
