Western NC chopped pork BBQ makes a helluva sandwich especially if the restaurant has good sauces to marry with it. Green River BBQ in Saluda NC used to make a sandwich called the Saluda Stuffer which was in half of a loaf of hollowed-out French bread it was magnificent.
