Keep ranking UGA ahead of us. They certainly have proved they deserve to be there...
Not.
Not.

All jokes aside, Wtf is Georgia doing at 4?

There is absolutely no way you can justify having Georgia ahead of LSU. I can understand LSU being at 4 however.

Sure there is. LSU is 4th to last in the nation in % of returning production. UGA is 59th. The reason a lot of people were bullish on LSU going into last season is because they were returning a ton of production from the 2018 season. The sword cuts both ways. The LSU team that dominated UGA last season isn't lining up this season.
Plus, LSU has a bit more uncertainty than UGA. LSU lost its DC and the offensive coach most attributed credit for the offensive explosion last season (say anything you want. LSU's OC didn't win the top assistant award or get a job offer to run an offense in the NFL). Finally, UGA has a very experienced QB (albeit new to UGA). LSU doesn't.
That's not to say LSU can't or won't be better than UGA. But there is a logical basis for ranking THIS UGA team ahead of THIS LSU team to start the season. Whether these preseason rankings are accurate will sort itself out once play starts.

LSU fans melting over a preseason poll. Shocking

Georgia is to college football what Georgetown was to college basketball for many years.

Yeah, the fact that Bama, Ohio State and Georgia are all ahead of LSU continues to show the lack of respect for LSU. I hope they roll on everyone again this season.

Always been a scam. This is par for the course.

Well said.
UGA has a lot of hype with the two transfers at QB, while MB is still unknown.
#5 is right where we should be imo.
Damnit I keep telling myself I won’t bother with any of this because there won’t be CFB this year but I can’t help it

Ohio State deserves to be there. They have a heisman front runner at QB and as much talent as anyone. Bama is Bama. Last year was a down year and they still won more games than most. I don’t blame the coaches for continuing to hedge their bets on Bama until either LSU or Auburn proves they can consistently beat them.
The argument above for UGA is right on the money.
Being ranked in the preseason as the first team outside the playoffs isn’t a diss considering all that LSU lost. Let The season play out.

LSU is the defending champ, I think they should at least be No. 2 behind a talented Clemson team led by Lawrence. Yes, Bama, Ohio St, and Georgia are all talented, but have questions to be answered on there teams just like LSU, but it is what it is.

Not with the talent we lost. I was expecting top 10 at the least, #5 is a little surprising but I'll take it.

LSU still has great talent, brah, they have 2 great receivers with Chase being the best in country, and other talented receivers in support. A young incoming TE that should be great, and loaded in the RB backfield. Top CB in the country with another or 2 really good corners on the other side, deep on the DLine. You underestimate the talent at LSU, they always just reload there like the Bama's, Clemson's and Ohio St and GA's.

They had 9 players drafted in the top 3 rounds. The idea that they were “down” is gump propaganda.
LSU just nutted up and beat them.
Having said all that, idgaf where LSU is ranked to start the season.
