Don't really understand why that wasn't the message from the beginning, but there was a lot of confusion coming from the experts in regard to masks early on.

So, if CV19 escaped from a level 4 virus research facility, how effective is a mask going to be? Even if it didn't escape, and someone smuggled it out, it was still being contained in a level 4 virus research facility, so same question. Now, if it developed in the "wet market", then who knows.

Here is your choices , vote for someone who will ask you to wear a mask . Or vote for someone who will make it federal law for you to wear a mask, and if you don’t abide by it you’re hauled off to jail. Who gives a shite if he’s asking you, he’s trying to win a damn election .

There wasn't confusion...they straight up lied to people. Because the medical infrastructure was caught so flat footed, there was real concern that if the government told people to wear masks we'd all run out and buy them all up before hospitals could get them...so they said masks don't work.
This was back on April 3 on Rogan's podcast...Weinstein was right here.

I think that this has to do with vote by mail.
The left:"Trump Supporters won't wear a mask to vote. Therefore voting isn't safe. We need to vote by mail."
Trump:"My voters are wearing masks. You will be just as safe as going to the grocery. Vote by mail is not secure. We will vote in the traditional methods to ensure a safe and secure election."
