One of them was joking. Brie ? Not so much.
Based on your intimate knowledge of her personality. Nothing in that video shows the behavior of someone who is mad or offended.
You guys see every thing she does, every facial tick and movement, as that of some conniving, world-hating devilbitch. And you all see that because one time she was mean to movie critics, a group of people you guys also hate. Her one comment has led people to creating and publishing unsourced nonsense that you people eat up without while question while calling anyone who disagrees with you an SJW lover or, as you said, a "rotten tomatoes reader." RT, a place where critics write. People both you and Brie Larson take issue with.
You're knowing peddling nonsense. You think it was possible for the Russo Brothers to edit her out of Endgame and still have the coherent product we got? Y'all love this franchise so much, why not have some faith that the main creators had some idea of what they're doing? Doesn't it make more sense that the Russos would not lay the narrative weight on a character just introduced? Financially, wouldn't it be stupid yo give so much screen time to a character whose stand-alone film hadn't been filmed yet.
Captain Marvel had plenty of reasons to be considered a mediocre movie. You guys don't need to desperately make up bullshite.
Outside of whatever geekbro bubble you guys exist in, people liked this movie. Maybe it was successful because of its attachment to a franchise, but then that would be true of every single movie in the mcu outside outside of Iron man. Maybe the next one will bomb, or maybe uou guys will continue to look desperate.

Only thing I want to see is more Thor vs Norse epic monsters
You'll get more Thor, especially since Jane Foster is supposedly taking over the Thor Mantle in the next movie. I don't see them giving Natalie Portman the role of Thor and not have plans for at least a couple of movies for her.

Except her reaction to Hemsworth's remark, and the entire article which surrounds the video. Obviously, you missed all of that.
- I've not seen everything she's done. I refuse to watch Captain Marvel. Even if it's free, on TV.
- Brie may not be 'world hating devilbitch ', but she sure is a man hating one.
- RT is for shills, and no one else. Time to smell the coffee.
- You WISH I were peddling nonsense, but alas, it's true. All of it.
- People THOUGHT they'd like the movie, because it was supposed to be a direct tie in to End Game . Oh boy , did it disappoint, bigly!

No they aren't
Most people don't give a shite about an out of context statement or an interview in which everyone was clearly joking

It's not " an out of context statement ". It's the sum total of her interactions with the other MCU stars as well as her attitudes towards people in general.

It 100% is. People tried to make it seem like she hated white men when she said she doesn't care what old white guys think about a movie made for little girls

Until I actually here people complaining about her on set I'm not going to buy into what some random dude on YouTube claims is the truth

Then clearly, you're unfamiliar with what the term ' out of context ' even means.
Oh, there's no need to try, she DOES hate them. Because she assumes that if a man doesn't like a crappy movie, it must be because he's 40 yr old white guy.
And A Wrinkle in Time was a crappy movie, just so we're clear.
It's not just ' some random dude '. but a whole slew of men, women, different ages and colors, all saying pretty much the same thing... Brie is trash.
Captain Marvel and Brie Larson are the supposed standard bearers for the MCU. No one in their right mind is gonna trash talk her. Not if they want to keep their job.
And look at how long it took for Ellen's crew to turn on her!
I don't deny that Brie is a smoke show. I couldn't keep my eyes off her in Kong: Skull Island. But the truth is, she's a garbage human.
Sorry.

How the frick do some of you get this fricking worked up over celebrities that you will never, ever, at any point your life, meet?
Y’all remind of middle schools with their Teen Beat gossip mags.
And all this over clickbait related to a Marvel movie. Don’t worry, there will be another article about a woman or minority getting cast in a Marvel or Star Dorks movie tomorrow.

Ironic, getting annoyed at folks talking about actors and movies in a Movies / T.V. forum.
Fact is, these very actors tend to meet 1000's of fans every year, ( sans pandemic ) at conventions and the like.
But that's not remotely the point. I don't need to MEET anyone to be able to talk about them, positively or not, by the movies or shows in which they appear.
I don't get bothered when folks fight over pro wrasslin' characters... why the fuss?

1. Larson’s character doesn’t bring one iota of the charisma and character embodiment that Evans and Downey Jr. brought.
So true. It’s like bizarro world seeing people praise her oddly one-dimensional flat presentation.
2 and 3 great points as well.

We don't like girls who are built like boys and have hate-filled hearts.....but you knew that.
BTW, that homophobic response has been WAAAAAAAYYYY overplayed in defense of shitty women....
Find a new shtick....

Cool, now instead of her fake tits, show her hips, arse and breasts BEFORE implants.....
She got boy hips and arse which is apparently appealing to some "men"......

I'm not speaking sexually, I don't know or care what gender your partner is
I'm speaking in generalities here. There is more hate spewed on this thread about women than any other board I visit. Some posters here seem quite offended over tv shows or movies. I just can't understand where all the hate comes from.

I can tell from "the same sources that told us ______ will ______, and ________ is _________" that this is "We Got This Covered," and I don't have to click on the link or take it seriously.
