The data shows a 0% death rate for 20 year olds. I can't comprehend why a single thing changed.
Whats really cute is some of the universities are planning or were planning, not sure if things have changed, to do face-to-face classes until Thanksgiving break, then go all online after.
which I understand, kids go home and all that jazz. But kids go home every damn weekend and go out of town all the time on road trips when it isnt Thanksgiving break.

These are the facts:
1. 99.8% who test positive in the USA recover with no problems and most have no symptoms;
2. No college or professional athlete in the USA has died from Coronavirus;
3. No one under 21 years old in the USA has died from Coronavirus;
4. High risk group are people over 75 years old with serious existing health issues and this group should take all proper precautions;
5. Around 40,000 to 60,000 people die in the USA from the common flu every year.
Wake up people! Open up our country! Stop living in fear!

Not sure where you get your stats but there have been many deaths under 21 from Covid 19 and the 25-35 age group has one of the highest rates. Also, this virus does strange things to the body, including heart issues in a certain subset. I wanna see Football as much as the next person, but don’t pretend there is no risk associated with it. Hopefully, the common set of guidelines in the conference can mitigate those risks

Youre telling the people who aren’t in charge bud.

The original plan tossed around consisted of starting in December and playing through February to allow even more time for COVID to go away, or be cured, but since Americans are selfish assholes, and the numbers continue to remain high, that won't matter.

LINK deaths almost non existent under 45 years old
It is people like you who spread massive misinformation and need to really do some research. Under 45 years old the deaths nationwide have not even reached 4k in a total pool of 150k...under 24 y/o the number is essentially zero and those young who did die were comorbid. ... Please stop spreading lies. Look at the table in the attached study. If you want some scary death rates for people under 20, especially children, take a look at plain old flu statistics. Do you ever worry about the players catching the flu? Nope.. Because the media hasn't trained you to.

Any SEC team finishing the season, one loss or better, sure as hell should be ranked #1 in the nation. Conference only schedule is a dream come true for many "pretender" contender teams.

You see LSU already has antibodies w other Sec schools. But has none w TX or any other non SEC schools. It’s science.
It’s really dumb actually how a 10 game conf only schedule is supposedly safer.

12 SEC teams
10 games
plus your team is 11
meaning, every SEC team plays every other SEC team but one.
Who wants to bet Bama avoids either Ga or Fla ?
We'll probably get to skip Vandy or SC

I’m guessing bc they feel they can better monitor/control/enforce within individual conferences. As far as protocol, testing, or whatever.

No deaths for anyone under 21 in the USA. Where do you get your data? No one said there is no risk. Risk is minimal.
