What was the first Presidential election you voted in?

Mine was 2000. 19 years old and voted Al Gore. I’m glad it didn’t work out, but I was more liberal back then. My candidate has only won twice (Bush ‘04, Trump ‘16). Hopefully I’ll be batting .500 come November.

2008. I was 21. I missed the 2004 election by a year.
My first two elections were 08 and 12. Almost turned me off of voting.

1980 Reagan. Had just come to grips with how horrible the dems are so changed to Independent. Have kept it there even though I vote Republican always.
