Anyone going to try to fish coastal LA on Sunday 7-26

After storm move further inland Texas Saturday night?
Have a buddy coming down tomorrow but I’ve told him we likely won’t get to fish because forecasted thunderstorms.
I will note some of the best trips we’ve had have been 2-3 days after a storm but Sunday is too early.

Thinking about going tomorrow. Just got a new boat and I’m itching to fish it! Stupid storm trying to screw my plans.

Sitting gulf side on the island now. This little storm is packing a decent wind. Looking at 8-10’s Crashing all morning

I'm gonna try to go when the thunderstorms settle down. Hoping for Monday. But looking at forecast is not promising

Same here with a new to me boat. Was hoping to spend the weekend at the camp in Dulac but this fricking weather ruining those plans.

Got a camp booked in Lafitte Sunday-Tuesday. Hoping for a miracle at this point.

Ended up with an Xpress. Compromise boat with two kids under 3. Went with the 80/20 rule and it will do what I want/need 80 percent of the time.
